Fan-favourite monster Loading... finally has its time to shine in Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel as one of the most effective and free-to-play friendly Ace Monsters in the Game. Blue-Eyes gains most of its strength by the incredible utility of its Master Skill, which allows it to destroy any monster on the Field! With proper timing, this Skill can take complete control of the game, or completely dismantle an opponent's strategy. Couple this with the fact that Blue-Eyes is fairly splashable and not particularly reliant on other Monsters or Skills, it's no wonder that it's one of the most popular Ace Monsters in the game!

Synergistic Skills

Loading... is fairly unique because it doesn't particularly synergize with or rely on any particular Skill. You can use this to your advantage by getting as much utility from your Summons with Skills such as [Double Material] (to recoup on Card Advantage for when you Summon Blue-Eyes) and [Superspeed] (to generate card advantage by means of getting to the center card first). Aside from that, you want to focus on strengthening your combat prowess, because winning combat leaves you with free tribute fodder for your Blue-Eyes.

Strategy Notes
  • Use your Superspeed Monsters to aim for the center card. Depending on how the first turn goes you might need to deploy additional resources to secure that card. Traps like Loading... can increase your likelihood to receiving the Extra Card.

  • Focus on winning combat early, as protecting your monsters gives you Tribute fodder for summoning Loading... .

  • The Key to doing well with Blue-Eyes is knowing when to Summon it. If you're under attack from the likes of a Loading... rush, you will want to use your Blue-Eyes defensively. Otherwise you want to use your Blue-Eyes to pop defenders and allow your high ATK beatsticks to attack directly!

  • Focus your efforts on the weakest defending player. Since Cross Duel generally rewards consistency, making sure to capitalize on when you can take out a player who can't defend themselves will allow you to get that coveted First and Second place.

  • If given the opportunity, try to end to end the Duel as quickly as possible by continually summoning monsters towards the weakest player. Loading... can be used both offensively and defensively to get that last bit of damage in.

  • Be weary of Loading... , which has been seeing an uptick in play with the popularity of Blue-Eyes. If you see an opponent with a set Trap Card, look for opportunities to pop monsters not owned by them, especially if it hasn't activated in a long time.

Future Upgrades

Since, unlike other monsters, Blue-Eyes doesn't need to "collect them all" (by means of acquiring the SR Monsters with a specific keyword). You can focus the SR crafts you'll eventually get by simply improving the quality of cards in your Deck.

There are some more efficient 1800 ATK Beaters like Loading... and Loading... in the SR Pool, they're not necessary but marginally better than the alternatives. Loading... is another way to clinch the center card by putting Slowdown on an opponent's monsters (note this overrides Superspeed ). Loading... , while not entirely necessary, compliments aggressive strategies well by being incredibly efficient for a single-tribute monster while also having a widely applicable effect on the entire board, minimizing the impact of all defending monsters.

Anything else can go into improving your Spell and Trap Card suite. Loading... and Loading... are incredible utility cards. Loading... provides redundancy with Loading... , raising the chances you can get the Extra Card, and there are some other options you can run if you want to be more aggresive like Loading... and/or Loading... .
